Jaxon from Safe and Sound

PMAKid: Can you tell me a little bit about the guys in the band? Who are you, and what do you guys do outside the band. School? Work? Hobbies?:

Jaxon: I'm Jaxon, I sing, work at J.Crew, and have a long distance relationship with a girl in Florida! I am also completing my last quarter at community college in the Fall and I'm looking at going on to art school. Rusty is our first chair guitarist, he has a long distance relationship with a girl in Canada, takes care of his Grandfather, and is passionate about Buddhism and anime. Mat plays bass, just moved into an apartment with his girlfriend, is the oldest one and is a teacher (despite his horrible spelling). Jacob is our second guitarist, just got married, and loves wearing jean shorts. Will plays drums and is essentially an enigma that loves one thing...candy.

PMAKid: I have listened to a lot of different hardcore records. I grew up listening to the old bands because that is what my dad listened to, but after going to the React! Records showcase where my friends in 7 Seconds were playing, I started listening to all the new bands too. One of the things that I really like about your 7”, “The Tides” is that the lyrics are really different from a lot of other hardcore songs. The music is really awesome too. Plus it seems like you have a theme going across the different songs. Can you talk about this a little bit, please?:
